Summer Sewing 2018

Kids Can Sew

Spring may have just started but summer sewing is almost here.  I will have three Beginning Sewing Camps.  The first will be Monday-Wednesday the week of June 11.  Your child will learn how to operate a sewing machine and then make a sewing bag and a pair of shorts.

The second camp will be Monday-Thursday the week of June 25.  They will learn the basics but will be able to choose their own project(s) after finishing the sewing bag.  The third Beginning Camp will be Monday-Wednesday the week of July 30 and they will make a skirt after learning the basics.  I use the Kids Can Sew program for these classes.

Sport bags

I will have four intermediate sewing camps this year.  The first is sewing your own sport bag.  It will meet the week of June 18 from Monday-Thursday.  The cost of the camp will include all supplies needed to make this duffle bag.

The next camp is Color me Crazy.  We will be playing will lots of different ways to color fabric or ready made garments.  It meets the week of July 9 Monday-Thursday.  It  will be messy but definitely fun.

There will be a one day class making a Flanimal.  That will meet Wednesday, July 18 from 9-2.  Once again all the supplies needed to make one animal will be included.

The last intermediate sewing camp will be the week of August 6 Monday-Thursday.  It is called Night Owl and the girls will make a pair of sleep capris, a sleep mask and a sleepy owl pillow.
